Over the past few years we have seen a large movement in people trying out different Truck companies over the classics like Thunder, Venture, and Independent. Now, most people seem to feel more comfortable grabbing a pair of Ace or Lurpiv Trucks. I personally have been skating on Ace Classics and Film Pro Trucks the past two years. I have grown to prefer Film as they have an all around better performance over every other Truck in skateboarding.

Film is a European based company with a very refreshing feel when it comes to the product, videos, team, and the entirety of the brand. Film was started by Jeremie Daclin, the founder of Cliche skateboards - if you're old enough to remember them. I was first introduced to the brand because they gave Leo Valls a Pro Truck and I am a big fan of Leo from Magenta Skateboards.

Film Trucks are guaranteed for life, against all manufacturing defects, to approve a guarantee of quality. They also donate 1% of the company's turnover to non-profit charities.

The brand feels more like a niche board company. They have a team that offers a variety of styles and techniques that are genuine to the skater with a more artistic energy on a skateboard - such as Tom Botwid, Leo Valls, Ben Koppl, and Victor Cascarigny to name a few. As well some classic legends on the team like Bastien Salabanzi and Jeremie Daclin himself.
